Borussia Dortmund pulled off an impressive 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday night.
The German side had been much the better in the first half but somehow failed to break the deadlock in a scoreless first half.
Eventually they took the lead they deserved in the 69th minute with none other than Erling Haaland opening the scoring from two yards when he reacted quickest to a deflected effort to beat Kaylor Navas to the ball.
However, PSG were on level terms on six minutes later against the run of play when Kylian Mbappe dribbled past Dan-Axel Zagadou with ease before creating a close range tap in for Neymar who celebrated enthusiastically.
Borussia Dortmund restored their lead just two minutes later with Haaland scoring a sublime first time 20-yard effort after being played through by substitute Giovanni Reyna. The two teenagers were both born in England despite representing Norway and USA respectively.
The tie remains in the balance ahead of the second leg at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday 11 March.
