1899 Hoffenheim have added young FC Twente defender Stefan Thesker to their squad ahead of the second half of the season.
The 20-year old central defender has played 15 games in the Dutch Eerste Divisie whilst on loan at Fortuna Sittard this season.
Hoffenheim head coach Holger Stanislawski said the following words of his side’s latest signing:
“In Stefan Thesker we’ve acquired a further talented player with a lot of potential, who we can bring along at the right pace here. A quality player.”
The club’s sporting director Ernest Tanner added extra praise:
“Stefan Thesker is an up-and-coming German player from one of the best football academies in the Netherlands, who will continue to develop his skills with us. I believe he’s a quality player and wish him all the best getting started here.”
